Create Excel Macro

• Set up macro
• Excel/View/Macro/Record Macro
• Enter name
• Save in This Workbook
• OK
• Select Top Row, CTRL-H to open replace dialog. Replace all characters necessary and then save Excel.
• Excel/View/Macro/Stop Recording
• Set Up Hotkey
  
• Excel/View/Macro/View Macros
• Options

Create Model to Geocode

• Create Model in ArcCatalog
• Open ArcCatalog
• Browse to directory where you wantg to save your model
• Right-click in white area and select New/Toolbox
• Name your toolbox
• Double-click the toolbox and then right-click in white area and select New/Model
• Close the Model Editor window that opens, and then rename model.
• Add Model in ArcMap
• Open ArcMap
• Ensure ArcToolbox is visible
• Right-click on the word ArcToolbox and select AddToolbox
• Browse for your toolbox and single-click it
• OK
• Design Model in ArcMap
• Right-click your model and select edit.
• Drag ArcToolbox/Geocoding Tools/Geocode Addresses to Model
• Enter Parameters
